Guerrero stayed with WCW until 2000 as he became one of the staple wrestlers in the company. It saw him leap to World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in late 1995 as part of the WCW vs. During this time, Guerrero was wrestling in New Japan Pro Wrestling as the Black Tiger from 1993 to 1996. However, he did join ECW for a short stint that year.
